MY JIVE |
Now that you've found me, I suppose I should have something to say. A little about me. I picked up my first instrument at the age of 11. It was inevitable that my being the son of a musician's son (who was also a son of a musician), would somehow be musical. After experimenting with other instruments such as the guitar, drums, and saxophone I finally found my niche as a bass player. What do I aspire to? In a perfect world, I would like to achieve the highest level of personal success possible. To engage in a journey where all the individuals equally contribute to the success of the whole. I want to be in an environment where the communication is open & free without the feeling of limitation. Where all agendas are common knowledge. "Good" has no secrets. I want to be in a situation where the band communicates at an almost subliminal level. Rigidity? No thank you. If you had to pinpoint a style that I lean toward, I feel I could best describe it by telling you which musicians most influence me. They would be Jack Bruce, John Paul Jones, Chris Squire, Sting, John Entwistle, Larry Graham, & John Bonham. Aside from bass, I also play some guitar, keyboard, and drums. |
